Elena has always had a love of dogs and has been around them most of her life, having had a successful hospitality career, she decided to leave the industry & pursue her dream of working with dogs. After studying with The Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour & Training Elena set up her own business as a dog trainer, her aim is to become a Master Dog Trainer with continued study & workshops. Elena Also continues her own learning and bettering of her handling by regular visits to arguably one of the best trainers in the UK. Elena Trains her own dog in competition obedience and small article detection her approach is very much relationship based and fun with methods proven to work and get lasting results
Elena has done a lot of work with reactive dogs whether a rescue dog or an over socialised pet and achieved great results for both the dog and owner, creating a calm dog who has learned to co-exist with other dogs & people. Plenty of other training needs can be met such as jumping up, loose lead walking and many more issues too.
Elena has worked with varying breeds of all sizes and ages so no dog is too big or too small. Elena will give you the tools and knowledge you need to be able to understand your dog and its behaviour to enable you to deal with issues you may be having.
Elena’s approach is informative yet sensitive as she understands that having issues with your dog can be an exceptionally stressful time for all involved, she offers continued support after training too for all clients. With reasonable rates for both 1:1 sessions, home visits and if you are booking a home visit for a dog with behaviour issues, extra training can be given.
